Nick Beaman was born and raised in St Petersburg, Florida where he attended to the Jacksonville University for Ceramics and Clay. In college he had one elective class in Glass Art and it was enough for him to fall in love with the medium and get his BFA in Glass Art. His knowledge in traditional Japanese ceramics techniques are often applied to his work in glass. His artistry and talent are undeniable. Nick has a studio in St Petersburg, FL called Synergy Hot Glass that presents live glass blowing, performance arts, live music and creates a one of a kind space.
