Momo Glassworks GC-108 Bronze Small Drops
Product Details
Bronze is part of the TACTILE collection. Strips of brass are cut from sheet and fired in the glass with a patina of copper oxide. The aesthetic here is minimalist and wabi-sabi -- an appreciation of how the patina weathers the metal within the glass.
The top layers of glass are lain on their side at different heights to create a dimensional effect.The ear wires are sterling silver and come with silicone ear backs included.
Dimensions: 0.325 " x 0.5" ; 8mm x 12mm
(production design: slight variations from the photographed item are inevitable due to the nature of this work -- each design is hand-painted onto the glass)

About Momo:
We met in Andalucia. Partly because of a dog. And we traveled all over Spain that first year and as we went we read a book out loud together called "Momo."
Later on, when we started working together and putting names to things, the title of that book resurfaced, bubbling with meaning. If you'd like to know why, you should read it yourself. But without giving it away: It is an allegorical story that asks big questions about work and time and modern life.
We haven't figured out the answers to any of those questions yet. But the asking of them guides us from one day to the next as we make these tiny little things and hang them on your ear to wear.
