This vase is reminiscent of shapes found in Navajo pottery hence its name.
"Our Optic Rib Vases are a visual feast of color and pattern. Likened to fish scale and waves on the ocean, they are also reminiscent of the pattern found in Tritons (seashells). Our proprietary vortex color mixes are swirled and ribbed creating dark defining lines but leaving the exterior smooth."

About Little River HotGlass Studio:
Michael Trimpol and Monique LaJeunesse's work explores the nature of the glass. They feel a particular love for glass in its molten state, and they channel that love into the creation of objects of beauty and originality: vases, perfume bottles, and more.
The artists work with glass using traditional techniques, gathering and blowing the molten glass until each piece achieves the balance and harmony they are striving for. They often incorporate processes such as cold working, sandblasting, cutting, and polishing in order to accentuate or focus on characteristics of the material.
